Gill Edwards

 

Working from a studio in the historic East Midlands town of Southwell, Gill Edwards is inspired by the beauty of domestic ceramics, Japanese kimono fabrics, killims and organic shadows.

Focussing on shapes, her discerning eyes gently mask certain areas of a painting, letting only the most beautiful parts stand out and shine: a poetic dance between objects and space.
