About us
The Point Contemporary is an Art Gallery based in Cromer, Norfolk. Established at the beginning of 2024, we aim to celebrate and showcase the best contemporary Art from the region, focusing on artists from or working in Norfolk.
The Point Contemporary is located a stone's throw from the beach and named after those ever-shifting, liminal places and points where land meets sky and sea meets shore. It also represents our aesthetic in terms of Art, where the boundaries of representation and abstraction meet through highly individualistic and painterly expressions.
From still life to atmospheric interpretations of the North Norfolk coastline, we aim to curate a collection that best reflects the tradition and contemporary vision of the North Sea coast.
We also run painting workshops and classes.
