This 2 day workshop is all about exploration, creative risk-taking and discovery in a supportive,
encouraging environment. Join Richard Bayliss for an inspiring couple of days discovering the expressive possibilities of paint
and mixed media. Through bold mark-making, collage, cropping and playful experimentation, you’ll explore new ways of responding to the landscape.
Open to painters of all abilities, it’s a welcoming space to try new processes, expand your visualnlanguage, and uncover exciting possibilities with paint.
With the focus on process rather than creating a finished artwork, you’ll leave with a rich collection of ideas, sketches, and source material, along with practical ways to develop them into future work.
Taking place in the village of Northrepps, this workshop makes the most of the beautiful North Norfolk landscape. Weather permitting, you’ll work both outdoors and in the studio, combining plein air painting with studio-based exploration to respond to the surrounding environment
