Friday 14th June Workshop

For beginners and those with experience who want to try new working methods.

Using acrylic paints Gabriella will teach her approach to painting still life explaining

how she sees the subject itself and the many different takes on it there are. For 

this particular workshop she will inspire you to think about what interests you in

still life as a genre so that she can help you develop your preferred approach.

Gabriella will demonstrate how colour and contrast are key to a successful painting

starting with background colour/s through to different ways to apply paint.

You will create a couple of backgrounds before you explore various drawing exercises

to loosen up before painting over your backgrounds to make an experimental painting.

Gabriella has taught Experimental Still Life and intuitive painting to students online for a few years 

now and loves to inspire artists to explore their ideas.

Only four participants per workshop. This means that each participant will receive plenty of one-to-one time.

All materials provided. No need to bring equipment, only suitable clothes for painting in.
